Menu Plan Mondays

I pulled out the book, Gatherings, for this week and I am overdosing on recipes.  I found this review of the book, if you would like to know more about it.

I have decided Tuesday is Meat Day.  I see that my husband really enjoys meat, on occasion and I love seeing him happy.

Here goes:

Sunday — Large Shells stuffed with Saucy Meat and Zucchini and Tomato Saute

Monday — Tangy Oriental Noodles with Savory Roasted Winter Vegetables

Tuesday —Beef with Cashews with  Israeli Couscous Salad

Wednesday —- Cheesy Potato Dish

Thursday — “Nutella” Tartine (Pure indulgence)

Friday — Melt in Your Mouth Salmon with Three Pepper Pasta Salad

Menu Plan Monday

This week, I am taking from several places, blogs included.  I have seen recipes, I want to make and haven’t gotten to it.  I, also have some requests for old time favorites. This seems like a good week to make these.  Much of this is comfort food.

Sunday —- Oriental Chicken Cutlets, Broccoli in Lemon Juice and Acorn Squash

Monday —- Mac and Cheese

Tuesday —-  Beef Casserole with Corn Meal Topping

Wednesday –  Broccoli Cheddar Soup with a Salad

Thursday – Potato Bar

Friday – Baked Chicken

Menu Plan Monday

This week is Ina Garten week.  Finding recipes was not as easy as I thought.  Last week with Emeril, I had too many in a short time.  BTW, I think, I made all the recipes in last week’s plan except for the black bean one.  With the hurricane on it way, one night just got too messed up.

I know Ina has fabulous recipes but they just were not speaking to me, tonight.

Sunday —- Baked Potato Stuffed with Chicken and Barbecue Sauce

Monday —– Challah French Toast

Tuesday  —–  Potato Gratin and Roasted  Vegetables

Wednesday —–Summer Garden Pasta with Scalloped Tomatoes

Thursday —–  Indian Spiced Salmon

Friday —– Lemon Chicken Breast
